10. The Door to hell, Turkmenistan

The Door to hell is a most amazing places on earth you won’t believe are real natural gas field situated in Derweze of Ahal province in Turkmenistan. The area is known for the fire from natural gas that has continually burning since it was lit in 1971 by Russian engineers. The fire consumes the natural gas deposits in the area which was mistaken by Soviets for an oil field. A camp and a drilling rig were set in the area.

When the drilling started, the ground on which the rig was set, collapsed forming a wide crater. Huge amounts of methane were released into the air. There was an immediate environmental threat t all the people living in the vicinity.

The engineers decided to set fire to the gases and burn them out completely within a few weeks. However, it is still burning after forty years.

Parque Nacional dos Lençóis Maranhenses or the most amazing places on earth you won’t believe are real Lençóis Maranhenses National Park is situated in Maranhão, northeastern Brazil. It is east of the Baía de São José. The area is low and flat. Overlaid with huge and discrete dunes, it is occasionally flooded. The total area spans over 580 square miles or 1500 square kilometers. Even this loveable duo could not cover up the fact that the film simply has no script at all. Infact one begins to wonder who gave it the green light. The plot is stupid and unrealistic.
